Make a codeigniter application installer?

Hi guys,
I need to make an installer for my last project.
What's best way to do that? I have only to do database create tables and insert data.

It's better to make another application named "install"? And how can I manage multi application?

maybe you can check pyroCMS, it use CI and it have 'installer'
