need help using jquery with CI

I read many posts but wasnt able to find the solution to my problem. Ok, so I have installed jquery but I dont know how to start with it using CI. If some one can post an example or something it would be great. The confusing part is to how to fit jquery into the MVC architecture.

A small example is appreciated.

I did set up a very basic working example in an other forum post
you can download the files here:

You'll get a controller file and one view file. The only things you'll have to add is
the modell for database logic and put the jquery files into the right folder. But
it's a good start if you never did that before and just want to see how the structure
can look like.
