404 error on a fresh install

I've been developing a web app using CI in my local server, no problem. The moment I wanted to upload it in my hosting service I got a CI 404 error. I tried different things which didn't work. Finally I decided to see what happened if I just uploaded a fresh copy of CI, without a .htaccess and with no other controller than the one that comes by default and I've got the same error! My hosting service is Godaddy, I've got a shared hosting account, with PHP5 and MySql 4.1 and I have other php apps (such as Wordpress) working under the same environment without problem. I'd really appreciate if someone help me out.

Just in case I attach a php info file (well that seems to be impossible in this forum as each time I try I get a "Error Message: The file you are attempting to upload has invalid content for its MIME type." whether I use a PDF or HTML file!)

Is it a godaddy 404 error or a CI 404 error.

Apparently this is a Godaddy-related problem. I've got the answer here
