Google Analytics conversion code

I'm sure this has been brought up, but I didn't see any solutions that worked when I searched. I have url_protocol set to AUTO, but for google analytics, you append the following '?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cost-per-click' as an example.


This doesn't work and I get the error The URI you submitted has disallowed characters.

Does anyone know how to handle this?

Just an update, I've set 'enable_query_strings' to TRUE in my config, but I receive the same error.
