IPad, Safari Database Connection Error

I have tested my site on IE and Mozilla: no issues.

However, I walked into the local Apple store to see how it behaved on Safari and I got a database connection error.

Has anyone experienced this issue or have any idea what might be the problem?

Update: I went back in to the Apple Store today and tried again. It worked.

I thought it was strange that CI would not work on a Safari browser; so I'm relieved to see it load.

I just wish I knew what I did to mess it up.

The access to the database is all done on the web server. The web browser should not effect database access.

I use Safari as my default web browser in my development environment without any problems.

I have not had much experience with the iPad but I have an iPhone and I have noticed that the fonts display differently for some web sites. If the web site is designed well, this should not be a problem.

Back to your database issue, I'd say it was a problem with the web server at the time.
