Hi.
I have been using CI for a while now and have an old site I want to start converting over. I tried to get it configured today and had problems. Here is what I want to do
1) Set up CI with the system folder at the root level.
2) Set up one directory to use CI by putting the index.php inside and adjust variables accordingly.
3) Set up Modular Extensions HMVC.
4) Hide index.php in the URLs.
I have done most this before, but putting CI in a sub-directory seems to be causing issues.
First of all, I could not get Modular Extensions to work with the sub-directory.
Secondly, I could not hide the index.php. I tried using .htaccess, VirtualHost, and Directory configurations.
ANyone ever try this and get it working?
