Hello,
I have to build a supplier directory site with custom signup forms for suppliers and for customers.
Suppliers will be able to modify their profiles and customise their advertisement page.
Customers will signup and get access to the searchable directory of suppliers and website content.
I was thinking that I could build the app with Code Igniter and use Expression Engine as the CMS for standard website content.
However I need different types of users to have access to different content and different functionality. So I need ACL. I know that Code Igniter doesn't have ACL out of the box so I was wondering if Expression Engine has functionality that I can use.
Basically an unregistered customer will have access to certain application functionality and certain Expression Engine content. A registered user will have access to more application functionality and more Expression Engine content.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to accomplish this?
