Here is my problem, which I am pretty sure you are already discussing....
I have a default CI 1.72 app folder structure and find that the absolute path to any of my files are accessible via link to the stylesheeet (and therefore via URL directly). To me this is a major security concern as somebody can navigate through my folder structure if they knew it at all.
I still need a publicly accessible folder for JS scripts and stylesheets, but not the rest of them. Is there a quick fix here? How do I lock down access to anything in my application folder but allow access to a public folder? Is it a htaccess configuration issue or OS security implementation?
