Please help!! Can anyone telll me how to get values from a multiple select box and insert into table

I have tried getting multiple select box values. But the problem is that only the first selected value is being obtained as result. I have other fields also along with it. Ive tried implode function and a couple of javascripts. But i haven found a way around this problem..
