Mutlilingual sites and DB

I would like some thoughts on how to set up a multilingual database.
Currently I am inserting into db extra fields for each language, ie fields title_en, title_fr ..... but I don't really like the way I'll have to extend each table with fields for en, fr, el, jp.....

What is the best solution to this? Should I create different tables for each language containing the specific language fields?

Table Fields
Blog id, author_id
Blog_en blog_id, title, content
Blog_fr blog_id, title, content

Any other thoughts pls?
