this is my .htaccess file:
RewriteEngine On
# RewriteBase /
#if the first parameter after current directory is:
# index.php
# robots.txt
# style (folder)
# treat it as normal file instead of rewrite it
RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|robots\.txt|media|admin)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L]
and the base url is:
"http" . ((!empty($_SERVER['HTTPS'])) ? "s" : "") . "://".$_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'].substr($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'], 0, strrpos($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'], '/')+1);
and to remind u, this works on my localhost and the rewrite mode is on.
isn't that enought?
