OCR (optical character recognition)

Hi folks,

In my new project, i need a function for reading char in a image, i tried for 2 days din get any gud idea..

Example:

if a image containing a string "Hello",
i need to print it on a screen...

could any one help me please??

There are numerous OCR libraries for php,google 'php ocr' and you will get plenty.Should the php libs. you get don't measure up to your expectations,you can always turn to the legendary PyTesser from google.

No i don't think so,it will be too tedious to come up with such an algorithm,even google has not got it 100% right,for more on ocr and handwritten text,see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26931...andwriting
