Codeigniter and a data Grid question?

Is Codeigniter compilable with a jQuery Grid? I read that codeigniter doesn't have crud. Sorry, but being able to create my .NET data Grid in this framework is a big issue for me, and as you can tell PHP is also.

Thanks, that link is encouraging because I want to use the new jQuery data Grid widget when it's final. Now back to my NetTuts Codeigniter training videos. I think I'm going to like MVC!

You can also check grocery CRUD if you don't want to begin from the beginning. The code is object oriented and it will help you a lot.
