you are all right. interoperability had always been an issue in general. i should have known better when i tested Ruby.Net ,some crap that was supposed to get Ruby running under MS .Net framework.
let's go linux and ease up forever! and this UBUNTU looks powerful.

ubuntu is good desktop os, not the best server. Your better off going with Debian, FreeBSD or RHEL.

I notice a lot of you have had some success with IIS5.1 and CI, I've struggled too, I'll try some of the things discussed. Perhaps its the wrong place but I've had a similar problem with IIS5.1, isapi rewrite and the path_info problem when trying to rewrite for a wordpress installation. Everything is fine under IIS6.0 so perhaps the CI solution may also work for WP.
