I contacted my hosting provider and they say APC is not enabled or installed.

I dont use APC on my site so why do i get some message regarding something i dont use or didnt enable ? Where can i disable it ?

I am getting this message in my Error Log file - lots of line of same message:
[05-Apr-2011 14:47:35] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/apc.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/apc.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Call your hoster an idiot.

It might not be installed, but it's definately configured to load in either php.ini or in a /etc/php.d config file.

Fact remains that your hoster is running an untested setup to host clients.

Wonder what else has not be tested (or properly configured, or hardened, or ...). If that's a shared hoster, I'd run like the wind (already tried to access another clients session files?) ...

They fixed problem.

I don't know if shared but i am using Reseller Hosting plan with which i can create accounts when need to ...

I have hosting with: http://www.greengeeks.com/

I was burned on last hosting and then choose this one because:
- Good name via forums i checked
- Good and fast 24/7 support
- What do i get for my money

I myself dont have so much experiance with hosting to know which one is really good ... "Only know how to use it and work on it Wink"
