calling CI's Controller from external script using curl

i need a simple example where i can manage to call method of controller of CI so that i start to learn from that point.may be u r too good and this may sound bad for you but that's all what i need.i need as simple example/interface what ever u call to get my url executed.

so that i start to learn from that point and explore.u have really helped me a lot and if possible pls modify the code u sent or some other ways.once i get this up n running i can play to learn more things and ufcourse the credit of my learning curve with this purely goes to you.
