hi,

2 of my CI websites are currently hosted at goDaddy and I'm disappointed at goDaddy service. Its been almost 2 months of a problem.

Anyways, I'm planning to transfer onto another hosting provider and I'm left with these two:
> I'm interested at their S-100 plan. Seems okay for my needs just for now. Although its a shared hosting plan, eleven2 told me that they limit up to 200 websites per server. I don't know if this is true but in goDaddy I'm sharing with almost 4k neighborhood!!!
> The Tiny Orange plan seems fine for me right now. Although I haven't been able to contact their Sales support since their Chat is offline, when I send a offline message I get a failure mail daemon so I still haven't had a chance communicating to them. Do they manage shared hosting good?

I had base my search on this forum http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/79337/ Reviews of the ASO seems nice, the problem is I wan't able to contact them.

So I have 2 website and looking for a hosting provider, can you guys help me to pick the right one? I want easy transfer, not too much configuration (since I'm busy at work), and almost no problem if I transfer.. (Unlike goDaddy)

Also, yeah, I only got a small budget Smile That's why I'm planning for S-100 on eleven2 or Tiny at ASO..

Many Thanks

I'm with HostGator.com, they work fine for me, never had a problem, and they have live 24/7 Technical Chat free of charge. And just google hostgator coupons, you can pick one up and get a really good deal.

Just my 2 cents worth, mind you, other people may have had problems with them.

I recommend ICDSoft. Their support response is extremely fast and I feel that they go that little bit further to help you even with non-hosting topics. I've had no complaints with their hosting either, but for me that's a commodity. It's the service that makes them stand apart.

I recommend BlueHost, it work's with Codeigniter no problem.
99% uptime, 24/7 support, easy to verify account for ssh access, and extremely cheap. I have a plan where I pay 80 dollars a year for unlimited everything.

I only wouldn't go with BlueHost if you need to run either an SVN or CVS server, as they only allow svn/cvs over ssh and not remotely, so you can not use the built in svn/cvs tools in your favorite IDE's.
