What are some up to date Twitter libraries for CI 2.*?

I tried implementing Elliot Haughin's Twitter library, however, the issue as documented below is keeping me from being able to use it:

Does anyone have any Twitter library recommendations that work well with CI?

Why you dont spend your 1 hour for make your own twitter lib? It would be great right? ;-)

I wish it would only take me an hour to code a stable Twitter library

If there really isn't anything out there, I will try to get EpiTwitter to work with CI. Before I go down that route, any suggestions?

For anyone else out there that wants to integrate Twitter with CI, I highly suggest twitter-async:

It's not built for CI, but you can just include those three files within one of your libraries or controllers to get it to work (make sure to drop the .crt into the same folder).
