Are the view files in views/dmz_htmlform needed for basic installation?

I'm installing DM ORM 1.8. Are the files in views/dmz_htmlform needed?

I saw a comment from the previous developer (Phil) which said that he stopped developing htmlform, so I'm wondering if these files are actually part of DM 1.8 or they are unneeded leftovers.

htmlform is still included in the Datamapper distribution, but it is no longer maintained, and therefor untested with new releases.

If you find incompatibilities, feel free to report them at http://bitbucket.org/wanwizard/datamapper/issues, with no guarantee I can find the time to fix them (which is why it is no longer maintained in the first place).
