An RSS Parser

Greetings All,

I am having some trouble being an RSS feed parser to work on our sites.

I am currently using:

Which works great on or Dev and Test boxes (which is a separate box than our production server where I am reading the feed from) However when pushing the code to production server (same place as the RSS feed from a Wordpress blog) the code breaks. The best debugging I can do is that there is something going on with the file caching that is getting read.

I have tried simplePie and RssParser as well with no success.

Anyone have a good solid RssParser out there, or some ideas?

I am just trying to read a wordpress blog Rss feed and pull a couple of the entries to load onto the front page of our website, which is not in wordpress but a custom CI app.
