Nice on noctrum. I've just went through this discussion and saw your idea. It's a perfect array for checking versions and changes.

And as he posted too you would rely on website html for version or on the server that actually does the versioning?

Yes, noctrum's link is actually perfect. My bad, I did not even check what he wrote completely. The moment I saw the phrase "something like" in his post that had the link, I assumed he was making a guess, and I wanted to pitch in with mine

Just do it with Noctrum's solution, nothing can get better than that.
