Alternative PHP Cache

I seriously need to sign up to more mailing lists. I've only just discovered this after hacking a Perl script into a PHP app for upload progress. Admittedly, I wrote said app about a year ago, but this extension has been out longer than that.

If someone knows of a "Cool new PHP stuff" blog I can subscribe to, let me know After missing this for so long, I'm obviously under-qualified.
