XAMPP type easy installation for a real server?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to use CentOS for my server and I'm kind of dreading getting everything installed MySQL, Apache, PHP etc and I was wondering if there is any type of project that is working on one install for all on a Linux box? XAMPP is so cool as a development environment, was just wondering if something exists for Linux as a production system

On most linux environments setting up lamp is really simple. Check out this guide:

I believe you can install xampp on linux but with yum or apt-get I can't see any reason you would want to.
