CodeIgniter is ignoring normal Exceptions?

Hey,

I'm new to CodeIgniter but something went wrong when using exceptions.

I built a Code, running fine on normal execution, but when implemented into CodeIgniter as a library it just ignores the "Throw new Exception" completely!

What's the problem? :$
