Database connectivity

Hai,

How can i configure my database ?


Because i am working on a network,

assume that database is on COMPUTER A ,and i am working with COMPUTER B.

we are using SVN(http://subversion.tigris.org/) TO connect,

or is there anyway to do this ? which is best for network ?

Also i want a better solution for Networking,means i can easily edit & execute files that which is on another computer.
