Trouble with allowed characters

Well, hi i have been having trouble with allowed chars but honestly I dont know why. I have this app inside a folder called AlphaΩ and everything works well, and then i have this other app within sistems.Alpha-&-Omega and theres where i get the following error "The URI you submitted has disallowed characters". Default controller works well even in the second app but anything else just throws the error. I've checked the config.php and even tried to rename the app to sistemsalpha-&-omega (without the dot (.)) and i keep getting the same error!

NOTE: The second app its just a copy of the first one with a diferent name I copied the whole folder and renamed it. I dont know whats going one , hope you guys can help me!
