I know, I know... EDI is for dinosaurs. I'd far prefer it if clients used XML, but I have a client that is in the medical field and they are getting files from govt agencies in EDI format, and I've been asked to try and read them and present their contents.
I'm sure others have been thrown into this world, so rather than re-inventing the wheel I was wondering if anyone had or knew of a class library that allows PHP/CI to work with EDI files? I did some cursory Googling on this, and found that Pear had a EDI package a while back, but it looks like it has been abandoned.
Anyway if you have done something like this before, and could point me towards some pre-written classes, it would be most appreciated.
