Hi fellow CI developers.
I've just discovered the CI framework, and I must say I'm very impressed of the simplicity of this tool.
Currently, I have been asked to develop some sort of 'Inventory Tracking' system.
I'd like to use the CI framework to start with this project.
My current question is if someone has some tips & tricks for this matter.
What are the DO-s and DON'T-s?
Main features for the solution should be:
- Password protected
- Possibility to track Stock Status
- Asset history (which asset has been at which location at what time)?
- Location history (which location has which assets assigned)?
- DataTables (datagrids) to show information
- Export functionality
I have some experience in OO PHP programming, however I don't have
any knowledge of AJAX functionality (which is needed in this project I guess).
Any tips or help (or good links) are absolutely welcome!
