Just recently I had to repair my tables. My site sits on a MediaTemple grid server, so logging into phpMyAdmin and reparing all my tables got the site up and running again.
My knowledge of MySql doesn't really extend too far from Navicat and the Active Record class.
What are things I can do to tighten my code/tables to avoid having to repair tables? Or should I just expect to do this from time to time?
