Controller Error On Updation From 2.0.3 To 2.1

Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Loader::initialize() in /var/www/vehi/system/core/Controller.php on line 51

This is the error I get when i updated the CI from 2.0.3 to 2.1.

The 2.0.3 was working fine but this issue came up when i upgraded to 2.1.

And i cannot revert back as it is a requirement to update to the latest version.

Please help me out

I have the same problem - just downloaded 2.1 from the top page, and the initialize() is where it should be, but the error makes all gone...

Is there anything that should be changed when upgrading?
Way of writing settings or something?

Check your ci cache directory and make sure there are no cached files in it also clear your brwser cache.

If that does not work keep downloaing it until it does work.

You should delete your old system directory and then copy the new system directory over!
