I wanted to get an idea of what other people use the encryption library for? Do you encrypt emails? Users first and last names? Anything else?
What are the major benefits (as you see them) to encrypting sensitive data? How much security does encryption provide in the case of a data breach or a hack being executed on your file server itself?
I'm just trying to get an idea on what others in the community consider best practices and what your data protection policies are.
