Can I Generate Scaffold Files?

While I've seen several different libraries (like CodeCrafter and Forge) that allow you to generate all of your CRUD functions, is there a way to have CI itself generate actual files from the scaffolding? A number of other libraries do this, and I think it would make a nice time-saver for everyone. It could generate the same model, controller and view functions that scaffold does now, but as real files.

As far as I can tell, this isn't possible right now, am I missing it?

There are a few CRUD libraries, they don't do exactly what you're asking, but might get you close.
