creating hyperlinks for days using calendar class

Im trying to use the calendar class to create a diary...

i have a form that will input details based on the date that the user selects. The calender works fine but im having a problem,

how can i create hyperlinks in the calender for all the past and future dates in the calender if data has been added to that date and the hyperlink needs to be the date

eg:
controller/function/2011/12/11

can someone suggest me how to do it?
