dbforge or migrations, both or none?

Hi there.

I'm about to start a big ish project and am going to use CI. I am starting totally from scratch both in terms of code and SQL.

I mainly use postgresql - and will be using it for this project.

At the moment, I have approx 50 SQL tables scoped out, as the project grows then this may amount to more.

My query is, starting from scratch would it be better for me to use dbforge with migrations, or just migrations?

I know that some things aren't as apt for postgresql as they are for mysql..

Any suggestions please? This will be developed on a few different machines, then once all working as expected will be uploaded to my dedicated server. A seamless migration would be nice, but i'm normally used to simply writing SQL in a text file and then copying and pasting into a command line.

Any suggestions and advice please?

Thanks for all the help
