Your .htaccess file was probably not uploaded due to it being hidden.

Mod_rewrite may be off if it is uploaded.

I have never used that host before, you can contact their support and ask them if mod_rewrite is enabled. also check to make sure your .htaccess file did upload to the server.

And if you want to see if mod_rewrite is turned on just add this to the top of your .htaccess file

If it is truned on it will throw you an Server Error 500!

Also make sure your .htaccess file is in with your index.php file
