validate/authenticate/authorize user

Hi,

I'm looking for a auth library, helper, feature, class etc. (you name it) to validate/authenticate/authorize user in webpages.

I'm waiting for your suggestions what to use. Currently I'm using my own code but I think there are better ones out there.

I like IonAuth for this: https://github.com/benedmunds/CodeIgniter-Ion-Auth

That said though, since discovering PyroCMS...I'm using it as the foundation for pretty much all of my custom app projects.

It gives you all the handy features you need for a website/app...but in a nice, lightweight Codeigniter based package that's extremely easy and fun to build custom modules for. It includes a somewhat customized implementation of IonAuth.
