Frameworks on top of CI?
#1

[eluser]Unknown[/eluser]
I am designing my first commercial-grade web app. I've been pouring through the CI code and it is my framework of choice.

However, I'm looking for some sample code to do some or all of the following basics.. so I can concentrate on the app itself..

I'd like:

Latest CodeIgniter
Latest PHP, MySQL, Apache (or use AWS, RDS, ElasticCloud, S3..)
OpenID Login Support (Facebook, twitter, and OpenID)
New User, (Facebook, etc.), Lost Password, Login, Logout
Ability to map points of interest within a specific radius
Basic Facebook Integration (post to user’s page)
JSON I/O
Database of Users and Attributes (including location)
iOS notifications
Google Maps API support (Map locations in database)
Basic CRUD work for the meat of the application (5-6 tables to start)
Clean CSS/Fluid layout (e.g. strava.com or squareup.com)

It looks like ExpressionEngine would be a good base.. but is there anything else that has a lot of the above already coded and in place?

I have a budget for getting up to speed, but want to spend wisely. If you have something to share (or sell) I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks in advance..

- Brad
