datetiem field type

I'm just kind of curious to know if CI has an updated form input field type of datetime like this:

I know I can insert this into my html and I have it it works fine but i'm just curious to know if CI has caught up to the new html5 form elements.

Not as of yet. You are more than welcome to create them in the form helper and issue a pull request on github so they get added, or you'll just have to wait for someone else to do it, if they do.
