Control multiple login with same user name in same time

I want to control multiple login with same user id in same time .

System doesnt allow second login or delete first one when a user try to login with same user id . how i can handle this one in codeigniter ?

You'd handle it the way you'd handle it in pure PHP. Did you already try something? Have some code or google'd your question? At least some of us - myself included - don't want to do your work. So please, tell us something about your first attempts.

In the first place why would you allow a user to login into your system more than once?
