hi,
i am using Phil Sturgeon’s RESTful API, which is really a fantastic library, which makes it very easy to set up an api server with CI.
i would like, however, to be able to control more the output: i.e. to control the root element in the xml format, to control the item key returned etc. etc. In other words, I would like to extend the library and make the output configurable and more flexible.
i was wondering, first of all, if any of you guys who are already using this library have perhaps already done this? and if not, if you are using the library and know it well, would you have any tips on how to design this extension?
