CI 2 + ME - HMVC + Doctrine 2.2.2 Broken ??

Has anyone else tried Doctrine 2.2.2. with CI 2 and ME ??

Things seem ok until I try to persist the object. I get an error at that point.

Am I doing something wrong or is this combination really broken?

Any info would be greatly appreciated..
