Changed the password for my db and now my site won't load...

My website is currently temporarily hosted on godaddy. All that I did is change mysql db password through godaddy hosting panel so that the developer could take a look at it and download the site sourcecode via ftp...

anyone know what could have gone wrong?

Did you remember to change the password in application/config/database.php to the new password, or if you manually connected you will need to change your password their as well.
