Problem with the News section on Codeigniter tutorials

Hi everyone can somebody help me out. I am just new to codeigniter and still starting. I succeeded in go through the satatic page. now on the news section I have some problems adding the codes. and see it run on my local host. please let me know where to put each of these given codes.
