How to learn design pattern of PHP

I can only find some video tutorial on youtube and an article on IBM. But they are difficult and I don't know how to use the concept into reality. Is there some method to learn design pattern?

Imho the best (readable) book on PHP design patterns: Matt Zandstra's PHP Objects, Patterns and Practice.
