First off the documentation is great. Just ran through the start and tutorial in a few hours, starting the general topic section now. Learnt a lot of PHP I didn't know before. I can code a little in C/C++ so that helped understanding.
My sole reason for learning this is to build a meta-search engine. Would you recommend CodeIgniter? Looking at the big picture how would it look in CodeIgniter.
I'm thinking use a search engine API, pull the results into a database, write a controller function to do the combining, then output to a variety of views.
Am I on the right track? Lot to learn so back to the documentation!
