Default route problem |

[SOLVED ]I am developing a site www.trianondesigns.co.uk The default controller is 'site' and I've put that in the config/routes.php file. I've noticed that if I go to this url: www.trianondesigns.co.uk/site/home the site comes up OK but if I just go to www.trianondesigns.co.uk I get a 404. my .htaccess looks like this Code: #Options FollowSymLinks which works for other sites. Can anyone shed any light?

site/home would indicate that you have a home method. You default route would need to be site/home not site.

Sometimes my stupidity amazes even me! I looked everywhere but the obvious. Many thanks for sorting me out.

Also if your using CI 2.+ then you no longer need these, CI protects them now with .htaccess files in the folders. Code: #Removes access to the system folder by users.
