well, i dont know exactly the pros and cons of each case but all the new frames use gmt. i guess there isnt any problem to use it...

Anybody else have any suggestions or can back up what DarkManX is saying. Is there any suggestions on whether or not to store times in GMT?

If you store in some local timezone, what timezone is it? What happens when hosting account is moved from one TZ to another?
The whole point of GMT is to create timezone agnostic date data.

Well the reason I thought of storing it as GMT is because I'm in CST and my server is EST so I was going to store it as GST and that way when I pull it out I can find out what time zone the user is in currently and then format it to display in their time zone and that way also when I view the times for different things in my script I can format them to always display CST.
