I'm currently working on a project where I'm stuck using PHP 4.3.9 and therefore need to use CodeIgniter 1.7.3. I was wondering what the best authentication library would be to use with these constraints. The ones I've looked at all seem to be developed for newer versions of CodeIgniter and I'm afraid they may require a lot of tweaking or rewriting to get it work probperly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
