Smarty vs Template Parser Class

Smarty or Codeigniters Template Parser Class?

They are completely different. CI's template parser does simple tag replacements. Smarty is a full blown template class/suite. Use whichever is appropriate for you.

I'll go with Smarty it's complete.
But the learning curve? it takes time.

I am not too crazy about template engines.

The view will always be messy no matter what.

There is always going to be dynamic code there
