I've also found, that you only get partially logged out. After logging in, the register link changes to displaying the username, and then click the log out link. Page redirects, back to home page. The username link reverts back to the register link, which is correct. However, clicking the login button just keeps redirecting to the home page, as if I were still logged in. I am unable to log back in.
It means there is something wrong with your session handling.
